Traditional Music and Kirtan Education

At the Sikh Education and Religious Society, we are committed to preserving the rich tradition of kirtan and gurmat sangeet. Through our Traditional Music and Kirtan Education program, we teach individuals how to play traditional musical instruments and understand the intricacies of raag. Our goal is to cultivate a deep appreciation for Sikh music and ensure that the art of kirtan continues to inspire and resonate with future generations.

We also do regular kirtan programs to allow students' confidence to grow and build strong public performance skills.
Larivaar Santheya and Gurbani Understanding Classes

At the Sikh Education and Religious Society, we are dedicated to deepening the community's connection with the teachings of the Guru Granth Sahib. Our Larivaar Santheya Education and Gurbani Understanding classes are held weekly and are led by scholars with years of experience. These classes focus on teaching the traditional Larivaar script and providing a comprehensive understanding of Gurbani. Through these sessions, participants gain valuable insights into Sikh scriptures and enhance their spiritual growth, fostering a closer bond with the Sikh faith and its teachings.
